The beach PLAYA CRISTAL is the largest in Miami, with 1300 meters long and 50 meters wide; Riviera beach and Pixerota beach are exceptional and usually visited by families, Porquerola beach is the least frequented and Llarga beach is a protected area, with cliffs, rugged nature and lush vegetation.
Also, in Miami we have some of the most beautiful coves. Cala California and Cala Bot, are two beautiful coves in one; Cala Santa Fe and Cala del Misteri are joined by one and form the largest cove of Miami, Cala del Solitari is secluded and private, Cala de las Sirenas remains unchanged and wild, Cala dels Vienesos is the smallest , with very fine sand and coastal flora; and, finally, Cala dels Àngels and Cala del Pescador are considerably large and with sandy beaches surrounded by rocks.

Miami Playa, popularly known as Miami, is a small town in Montroig del Camp area, which is approximately 15 kilometers away from Mont Roig. Miami is mainly made up of apartments and holiday villas, as well as several small hotels, since it is a resort specialized in family tourism.
The commercial activity of Miami is concentrated around Avenida Barcelona (national road N-340) and its coastline has a main beach, Playa de Cristal, and a series of smaller coves but with the same charm. Most beaches and coves have a “blue flag”, quality mark.
The history of Miami Playa begins in 1952 at the initiative of Marcelino Esquius, who was fascinated by the beauty of the landscape of the area and set out to create a space to enjoy it and share it with the whole world. Belonging to Port Aventura and located almost to the side, we find Caribe Aquatic Park, a spectacular water park in which childrens and adults can have a good time. Another ideal option for children is to drive 20 minutes to La Pineda and visit the Aquopolis water park, full of slides and pools.
In case your holidays start in September, do not miss the Pirate Party, which is celebrated on the first Saturday of the month. Children love this event. And if you like adventure, do not forget that you can make mountain bike and cross county rides and cuad routes, ride quads or practice water sports, among many other activities on the beach in Miami, so you can enjoy your family vacation.
For those who want more tan just laying on the beach,Miami offer interesting options. Do you like ecclesiastical tourism? Do not forget to visit the hermitage of the Virgen de la Roca, an important point of Marian devotion with so much charm that it inspired great artists like the famous Joan Miró.

The New Church of San Miguel Arcángel is known as the Cathedral of Baix Camp due to its large size. It began to be built in 1801 and is still an unfinished work, just like the famoust La Sagrada Família.It can be visited during the times of mass.
If you like museums, we recommend you visit the Solé de Montroig Olive Oil Museum, where you can discover how the Solé family started its olive oil company, the tools and machinery that were used at that time and, of course, the process of preparing the precious olive oil. The Miró Center is also interesting, where there are several works that Joan Miró painted inspired by the landscapes of Montroig and its surroundings.
Spacious beaches and beautiful coves are the main point of attraction of Miami. In Miami you will find 12 kilometers of coastline, with four beaches and nine coves of fine sand and crystal clear waters.It is ideal for long walk along the beach.
The most famous beach is Playa de Cristal, which has all kinds of services.You can walk to the beach if you are accomodated in Pino Alto. La Cala del Solitario is the most isolated and cozy, perfect to spend a moment of tranquility. La Cala de las Sirenas is the best for those who seek to contemplate nature in its purest form. Finally, we will mention Cala dels Vienes, which is the smallest but also the most beautiful, with a very fine sand whose color contrasts with that of nature and the turquoise blue of the sea.
